With the Remote Connect Smart Assistance tool, Optima Service has the possibility to react immediately and access your machines from anywhere in the world.
An Edge Firewall (hardware) is installed, which acts as a transfer point between the customer’s networks and the OPTIMA machine network. An SSL VPN connection is established from the access point (WAN) defined by the customer to the OPTIMA Central Firewall.
If service is needed, it is now possible for the OPTIMA service technician to establish another connection to the OPTIMA Central Firewall. By using the access control provided by OPTIMA, protocols and network segments are restricted and monitored to ensure a high security standard. In the portal myOPTIMA, a detailed documentation of the performed service interventions is carried out, which guarantees complete traceability and continuous transparency for OPTIMA and the customer.
