I enjoyed my training as a technical product designer because I was faced with a new challenge every day, always drawing new parts.
My aha effect was the robot in the training center, which the trainees are allowed to work with themselves. The environment at Optima is very friendly. The trainees meet regularly for lunch and have a good relationship with each other.
The training at Optima was fun because it is versatile. New things all the time, you can work on different machines filling and packaging different products.
On its approximately 1,000 square meters, the Optima training center offers more than 140 apprentices optimal learning conditions as well as plenty of space for creative learning and practical work. The workplaces for the various professions are fitted with modern equipment. Theory is not neglected either: a laboratory and practice room as well as two training rooms enable optimal knowledge transfer. Five full-time Optima instructors impart theoretical and practical knowledge on modern processing machines and special training systems.

Your training takes place at Optima, and you complete your studies (7 semesters) at the Künzelsau campus of Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.
By dovetailing the two stages of education, the dual qualification can be achieved in just five years. You will also remain with the company during your studies and receive compensation for the entire period.

The transition to my studies worked out great, I still have contact with my team at Optima and never lose touch with the practical side of things. And the issue of vacation jobs has also been resolved for me.
