Looking back – OPTIMA at Biofach 2019

Organic products and Optima’s matching packaging solutions were on display at Biofach 2019, including an OPTIMA SD2best auger filler. Entry-level solutions for process automation were particularly appealing to the trade fair’s visiting public.

Suppliers of flour and spices in particular showed great interest in Optima’s various auger filler solutions, which portion out the valuable food into solid containers as precisely and carefully as possible. One of the trade fair visitors placed an order at the booth for an OPTIMA SD2, which is suitable for filling weights of up to 30 kg.

Many of the ecologically producing companies are small to medium-sized, which means that machine solutions can ideally grow in line with their needs. Optima’s portfolio offers the perfect conditions for this. That's why the move from semi- to fully-automatic solutions is a successful one. It’s also important that the machines are easy to operate and simple to install. A further advantage is the services that are available around the clock, across the globe. These points won over a few of the trade fair visitors, so much so that further discussions were held once Biofach was over.
