Our most valuable resources are air and water. Thanks to Optima filter technology solutions, you'll be putting the well-being of people at the forefront. Together, we'll help to improve our quality of life, health and safety. Using perfectly tailored systems for cost-efficient production and packaging of your air filters, water filters, laboratory and medical filters as well as technical filters.

Intelligent systems for filter manufacturers
The key benefits for you: Product safety, traceability and counterfeit protection

Optima is a solution provider with decades of experience in a wide range of applications and sectors. We draw on this breadth of experience, and use synergies to create customized partial or fully automated solutions in the filtration sector – from the initial product idea via development to serial production with high, consistent product quality. Whether it be maintaining human health, protecting the environment or ensuring the correct operation of technical systems.

Our efficient systems and technologies, which we develop and produce for various manufacturers using tried and tested platforms, are as specific as the filter requirements. We will give our full support every step of the way, while always remaining closely in touch with you. This means you get systems that are perfectly tailored to your needs, so you have the level of automation that you want.

Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction and success. This is why we give top priority to traceability, preventing counterfeiting and production safety. Traceability ensures that you have transparency and the highest level of product quality. You are guaranteed originality thanks to our counterfeit prevention measures. Production safety ensures that your customers are satisfied.

What's more, we'll help you, to the extent possible, to make ecologically responsible products. One of the greatest challenges is dealing with the fact that filters are made from various components. We'll help to keep down the number of different constituent parts. Our proven assembly methods guarantee that you use the smallest possible amount of resources, preventing waste and premature downtime. We also incorporate a range of measures for your one hundred percent in-process controls.

From drinking water treatment to medical engineering

The perfect filter for all uses

Filters are used practically everywhere. Our technologies and processes for making and packaging them are as varied as their uses. Filters are divided into four categories.

Water Filter Product Group
Water filters

Clean drinking water is a costly resource that is becoming increasingly scarce. We are quite aware of this and so we're playing our part in packaging and producing water filters safely, efficiently and sustainably. Shall we work together in the future?

Air Filter Product Group
Air filters

Clean air is also a fundamental part of life – and not just for us humans. Thanks to clever production solution for air filters, you make filters that process air to protect both people and the environment. For a healthy future.

Product Group Laboratory and Medical Filters
Laboratory and medical filters

Do your filters protect the health of employees in laboratories? Or are they important for the well-being of patients for medical applications? Thanks to the technologies of Optima, you produce and package them in a way that protects the product and protects them from counterfeiting.

Product Group Technical Filters
Technical filters

Each technical application has its own challenges. With the expertise of Optima, you'll be able to create the perfect production solution for all filter technology requirements. Are you ready?

Product safety

Optima systems protect the product. What's more, the 100% in-process controls ensure the utmost safety, for example by detecting leaks and checking that all is functioning correctly. A range of product sterilization solutions ensure that hygiene standards are complied with. Production that complies with GMP guidelines and the use of verified processes ensure first class product quality.

Machine with coding possibility for traceability
Traceability

Traceability is ensured using coding and track and trace systems. Thanks to manufacturing Intelligence, orders are passed from the ERP system straight to the production lines, batches are controlled, thereby assisting the operators during product switches. We can react immediately to production variations and increase the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

OPTIMA machine part with anti-counterfeiting code
Counterfeit protection

Developing a product involves a lot of time, money and passion. Optima will provide reliable assistance with copyright protection: with tailored, open and protection safety features such as data matrix codes, RFID and fluorescent coding. This ensures legal certainty, protects your reputation as a manufacturer as well as the health of the people who use these products.

Our technology portfolio
Working together for a perfect machine solution

Special challenges call for special solutions. Together we'll configure the perfect system that meets your requirements. We have come up with a modular system to ensure commercial success as quickly as possible. It comprises various modules that we combine according to market, product and customers needs to create the ideal solution.

Modular does not, however, quite mean standardization. If special models are required, but they don't exist yet, we simply create them. We can also do that with ease thanks to our experience and expertise. Shall we take on finding solutions together?

Optima provides the utmost level of flexibility for filter production for you: Choose from a wide range of different forms of cartridge shapes and sizes. Another option is to use several different modules and to combine them automatically using our clever robotic systems. For example, for filling, closing, checking and assembling.

Machine welds cartridge container and lid tightly together
Welding and sealing

If, during production, your cartridges undergo high operational pressure, we recommend using friction welding. This process welds cartridge containers and lids firmly together to produce a smooth, even shell. Another option is to use welding techniques such as ultrasound sealing, laser welding or infrared welding.

Cartridges undergo a pressure test
Pressure testing

Maximum machine availability and constantly high product quality are key factors for your production. We offer the most cutting-edge technologies for the controls you need to carry out. Pressure testing is done straight after the welding process. This entails checking whether the welding and injection points of the plastic cartridges can withstand high pressures.
