Mechanical engineering - design and development

After graduating with a major in design, you can be employed in a variety of areas: You will work as a design engineer in the areas of design and development, testing, production, project planning, customer consulting and sales and will be responsible for developing and designing machines

As a student specializing in mechanical engineering
  • You deal with development, quality assurance and testing tasks as well as with calculation, design and manufacturing
  • You present ideas in drafts and drawings that involve either the new development of a product or the further development of an existing product
  • You know the physical laws in theory and practice, the interaction of design elements, external conditions (temperatures, corrosion, wear, etc.) and consider the appealing design of the product
