Optima Machinery Corporation in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a Service Account Manager for our growing company.  As a Service Account Manager for OPTIMA Machinery Corporation you will be expected to work well independently and within a team.

Duties will include:
  • Establishes and fosters/maintains customer contacts, researches customer needs and develops application of products and services.
  • Prepares quotations for possible service packs.
  • Identifies opportunities at the customer site and finds a suitable solution by communicating with internal departments to satisfy customer needs.
  • Looks at required training needs on the machine, maintenance or audit service/contracts needed and communicates with engineering and spare parts team on potential spare parts required.
 
The preferred candidate will have:
  • 4 year degree with a study focus in Engineering, Business Administration or Finance, or
  • 3-4 years of work experience with equipment manufacturing
  • Ability to assist customer with capital investment planning, development of investment strategies and equipment strategies
  • Ability to develop management level presentations with statistical data as well as present technical information and maintenance concepts

Optima Machinery Corporation in Green Bay, WI, is seeking an Electrical Engineer. Preferred candidate worked previously for a minimum of 5 years as an industrial controls engineer. Knowledge of Rockwell Controllogix, motion control and Panelview HMI highly recommended as well as Industrial Network Communications and Industrial Sensors.

We are looking for an individual with a 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Candidate must be able to read electrical schematics, understand PLC programs written by other engineers, and be able to modify PLC code to meet our customer needs.

Performs service, upgrade, and installation support of Pharmaceutical equipment manufactured at Optima Germany and sold to the North American market. Candidate will need to perform remote support of customers through telephone and VPN connections but could also Travel up to 75%. Considerable training in Germany will be provided to ensure good relationships for working closely with the German colleagues.

Optima is a German owned company, an international leader in the packaging industry, providing custom designed machinery to meet the packaging and filling requirements of major US and foreign companies.

We are currently searching for a seasoned, locally based Nonwovens Service Specialist to assist in installations, repairs, and maintenance of both the electrical and mechanical systems. This position would be based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, but would consider a location close to an airport hub depending on experience.

The Nonwovens Service Specialist duties would include:
  • Machine Installations
  • Troubleshooting equipment
  • Preventative maintenance (Audits)
  • Customer training

Must have skills that encompass:
  • Experience in machine building
  • High degree of mechanical skills and mechanical principles
  • Electrical skills – ability to follow wiring diagrams and troubleshoot would be preferred
  • Working from complex assembly layouts and detail drawings
  • Knowledge of the converting process
  • Machine maintenance experience and the ability to document maintenance
  • The ability to make spare part recommendations

Characteristics of the Service Specialist would include:

Extensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate would need to have the flexibility to spend approximately 1-3 months at our parent facility in Germany for training in addition to domestic travel for a period of time for additional customer site exposure.

Summary/Objective
The customer service representative (spare parts) provides effective customer service by establishing a working relationship with internal and external customers through communication via email, telephone or in person with customers or company employees.

Essential Functions

  • Accurate entry of customer orders into the SAP system, responsible for entering correct part numbers, quantities, pricing, billing and shipping information.
  • Provide information about spare part price and delivery to customers both internal and external by phone, email or written quotes.
  • Operates inventory control software, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Answers calls and provides information as needed.
  • Serves as a liaison with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing and shipping personnel.

The Field Service Technician position supports one of the Optima Divisions in a service role pertinent to the operations of that division.

  • Travels to customer sites to install, maintain, inspect and repair OPTIMA equipment
  • Installs, maintains, repairs both mechanical and electrical systems and components on OPTIMA machinery following blueprints, electrical codes, schematics, and manuals, both at customer sites and in-house
  • Installs wiring and conduit and connects power supply to machine
  • Assists with in-house assembly and related activities

Work Environment
This job operates in a production environment of a customer site.  Adhering to the safety measures of the customer’s plant and working both independently as well as a team effort.

Job Description
  • Perform initial and ongoing design reviews
  • Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors
  • Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies
  • Submit a scope of work for each project that includes budgetary numbers and the goal of each project
  • Develop CAD project drawings and review drawings from junior team members for accuracy
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop an accurate accounting of all engineering hours required for various types of internal project.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required Licensed as a BSME
  • 4+ years’ experience in an engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and drafting procedures
  • Excellent prioritization and project development skills
