OPTIMA Machinery Corporation, a subsidiary of the German-based OPTIMA Packaging Group, is celebrating 40 years of successful operations in the United States. Founded in 1985 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the company has grown from a two-person office into a leading provider of advanced packaging and filling technologies with more than 200 employees across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
“OPTIMA’s 40-year presence in the U.S. reflects our strong commitment to the market and to our customers,” says Ulrich Unterriker, Managing Director of OPTIMA Machinery Corporation. “Our team has built a reputation for technical expertise, reliability, and long-term partnership – values that continue to define who we are today.”
OPTIMA’s U.S. operations trace back to the late 1970s, when its first diaper packaging machines attracted the attention of major American manufacturers. The growing demand for local service and support led to the establishment of OPTIMA Machinery Corporation on October 28, 1985.
Since then, the company has continuously expanded its footprint and portfolio. Today, OPTIMA Machinery Corporation represents all four business units of the OPTIMA Group – Pharma, Consumer, Nonwovens, and Life Science – serving customers across North America with tailored solutions for high-performance packaging and filling systems.
Dr. Stefan König, CEO of the OPTIMA Group, congratulates the U.S. subsidiary on this milestone: “OPTIMA Machinery Corporation’s success over four decades is a testament to the dedication of its employees and the trust of its customers. The U.S. market remains a cornerstone of our global strategy.”
With continued investment in technology, service, and people, OPTIMA Machinery Corporation is well positioned to drive the next chapter of filling and packaging innovation in North America.
