Three weeks full of play, creativity, and exercise: Around 150 children are spending enjoyable days during the summer holidays with Optima packaging group’s childcare program – while their parents can more easily balance work and family life. True to the motto We care for our team, Optima is once again offering flexible holiday childcare from August 4 to 22 at the OPTIMA Sportpark.
There's a lot going on at OPTIMA Sportpark: children are jumping around and laughing loudly. Some are sitting in the sun eating watermelon. Others are running to their parents to proudly show them what they've made during the day. “See you tomorrow!” they call to their friends before heading home.
Around 50 children are being looked after by qualified staff this week as part of the Optima holiday care program, which runs for three weeks. In addition to crafts and exercise activities, there are daily activities related to nature, technology, and culture. A special highlight is the trial training session with the Schwaebisch Hall Unicorns.
“The grounds at OPTIMA Sportpark are ideal; the children can let off steam here,” says Nadine Otremba, whose children Mia (12) and Til (8) have been participating for several years. For daughter Mia, there’s no question about what was the most fun this year: “The water fight! And I think it’s great that you always meet children you already know from previous years.”
The holiday care program provides noticeable relief for parents. Full-day care, flexible drop-off and pick-up times, and proximity to the workplace make it easier to organize school holidays. “Working from home and flexible working hours are a real relief, but the holiday care program also gives our children variety and memorable experiences,” says Nadine Otremba.
The compatibility of family and career is a central component of Optima's corporate strategy. Measures such as holiday childcare make this tangible and show how the motto We care for our team is put into practice.
