For many young people, a new chapter in their lives begins today: As the training year gets underway, Optima welcomes its new trainees and students at its Schwäbisch Hall location. The first week is all about getting to know one another. The program includes, among other things, a first-aid course, an etiquette seminar, and “Games Without Borders,” where the new hires can make their first connections with their trainers in a relaxed atmosphere.
In addition to hands-on training and personalized support, the new Optima trainees benefit from attractive working conditions. These include a training start bonus of 2,000 euros and the 35+5-hour model, which provides additional time for individual learning in addition to regular working hours.
“Today marks a major milestone for our apprentices and students: their first step into professional life. We look forward to supporting these young people on this journey,” says HR Manager Luisa Mebert.
Well-trained employees are essential for continuing to develop innovative technologies and solutions for international customers in the future. During their apprenticeships or studies, these new professionals gain exposure to different areas of the company, contribute to specific projects, and gradually expand their technical knowledge.
By launching these training programs, Optima not only fosters the development of its new colleagues but also secures valuable expertise within the company. New perspectives, fresh experiences, and diverse backgrounds enrich our daily collaboration and help us further develop existing solutions.
“Our innovative strength thrives on the people who contribute their knowledge, ideas, and dedication every day. That’s why we consciously invest in young talent and their training,” says HR Manager Katja Schrafft.
The application period for the 2027 training year has already begun. Applications can be submitted online. Four new programs have been added this year: Business Administration Controlling & Consulting as a dual study program, and Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Industrial Digitalization, and Mechatronics & Robotics as cooperative study programs.
