The company R+E Automation Technology (Fellbach, Germany) has become part of the Optima packaging group (Schwäbisch Hall, Germany) on July 1st. The more than 30 employees will further be acting independently, with the same management.

Founded in 1922, the family owned and operated business is in its third generation and employs a workforce of 2,150 at its sites in Germany and 13 locations abroad. In addition to its base in Germany, the company maintains branch offices in Italy, France, the UK, the USA, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, China, India and Malaysia. An export share of more than 80% is indicative of the company’s international standing.
